  • Funding plan for UK practice facility OK'd     The University of Kentucky's basketball teams could have a practice facility to use as early as October 2006 under a funding plan approved Tuesday by the university's Athletic Association board.

  • UK Hoops Inks Georgia Prep Star  The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team signed Oreonna (pronounced or-E-on-na) Taylor to a national letter-of-intent, Coach Mickie DeMoss has announced. Taylor is a 5-6 point guard from Stockbridge High School in Stockbridge, Ga.

  • Georgia point guard is DeMoss' fifth signee    A visit to campus last weekend was all it took to help Oreonna Taylor make it official. The 5-foot-6 point guard from Stockbridge (Ga.)
