No. 22 UK Travels to UT For Crucial SEC Series
In a tie for the eighth and final spot in the
Southeastern Conference Tournament with Tennessee, the
No. 22 Kentucky baseball team hits the road for its
final road series of the season, a pivotal three-game

Secret's out: Hood commits to Cats
6-7 MADISONVILLE JUNIOR COULDN'T KEEP QUIET ANYMORE
Madisonville basketball star Jon Hood did his best to
keep it a secret after he committed to Kentucky a couple
of weeks ago. On his way to the King James Shooting
Stars Classic in Akron, Ohio, the last week of April, he
stopped in Lexington and met with UK Coach Billy
Gillispie.

Cats pass NCAA's academic test
All 22 of the University of Kentucky sports teams surpassed
the target score in the NCAA's fourth annual Academic
Progress Rate report, and thirteen of the school's 22
programs exceeded the national average for public
universities in their sports.

sides of the plate, finishing 5-for-6 with a career-high
eight RBI, as the No. 22 Kentucky Wildcats pummeled the
